Book Fest announces headliners

Basketball legend Jerry West is coming for the Virginia Festival of the Book's March 21 Leadership Breakfast. University of Richmond prez/History Guy Ed Ayers will be the March 22 luncheon speaker, an event that's traditionally sold out. And Ian Fleming's successor, Jeffery Deaver, heads up the March 24 Crime Wave luncheon, and no doubt will discuss continuing the James Bond legacy.
For West, Central Virginia represents an old stomping ground, as the Hall of Famer would leave L.A. some summers to train a new generation at Camp Wahoo in Albemarle County. Among those he inspired at Camp Wahoo is none other than Debbie Ryan. His book, West by West, is co-authored by local Jonathan Coleman
