UVA offers seminar with artists Judy Watson and Megan Marlatt

The University of Virginia presents "On Observation: Artists in the Natural Laboratory," a seminar led by Australian indigenous artist Judy Watson and UVA studio art prof Megan Marlatt. Watson, whose exhibit "heron island suite" is currently on view at the Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection, spent time as an artist-in-residence at the Heron Island Research Station on the Great Barrier Reef. Marlatt launched a summer program for UVA studio art students at UVA's Mountain Lake Biological Station in Giles County. A reception follows the seminar. Clark Hall, Room 108. 244-0234.
