The just-completed weekend was gorgeous with its combination of ice-covered trees and very few power outages or roadway hazards. Few places near town were as scenic as the Meadow Creek Parkway– aka the John W. Warner Parkway– as this photograph would indicate.

Great photo Rey. Admittedly, a picturesque drive, but imagine how beautiful this would be as a bike/walking trail and how quiet. Instead of wide swaths of green grass this could be a nature lovers dream - with all kinds of native plants and trees that wildlife could feed on.
I have given up yet .....
I haven't given up yet , although the above slip may belie my optimism.
