Discounted Glenmore sale benefits Paramount

This Glenmore home, donated to the Paramount Theater Foundation, was originally listed last May for $799,000. Reduced to $549,000, the home recently traded for $502,500. Both the listing agent and her broker waived their share of the commission in an effort to increase the benefit to the non-profit theater.

Wow, Glenmore home prices have taken a beating. Probably because they were way over inflated to begin with. Lucky for me, I got out just before they went over the cliff.

@ Cville Native: Gimme a break. We came down from NOVA and didn't know any better. Re Glenmore, the community itself was nice BUT some of the residents don't think their poo stinks AND some of the home builders there (one in particular) are totally, absolutely, undeniably incompetent thieving liars. Did I mention I don't like them? They shouldn't be in the business of even building a shed because that requires more ability and skills than they possess. What they do almost constitutes legal thievery. Btw, what's wrong with Lake Monticello? If it's the build quality, at least you're getting what you pay for, unlike Glenmore.
