Sunday morning painting at Madison Hall

While parishioners flocked to nearby St. Paul's Church, a crew of painters spent their Sunday morning painting the exterior of Madison Hall, the UVA building that holds the office of the university president. Erected around 1905, the University Avenue building, by the prominent New York architectural firm of Parish and Schroeder, originally served as America's first on-campus chapter of the YMCA, then known as the Young Men's Christian Association.
