Not the usual Towe boat-sighting

Every day, canoes, kayaks, and little fishing boats put-in to the Rivanna at Darden Towe Park. But Sunday, July 1 looked a little different as a replica of a "white pirogue," part of the flotilla that took the noted Lewis & Clark expedition up the Missouri, was put in and (as shown here) taken out after a test run. The boat was constructed by kid volunteers overseen by a 16-year-old prospective Eagle Scout, Jeremy Baruch of Ivy Troop 114.
