The Hook needs colorful, friendly tweaks

Most of your covers and featured articles seem to be about some tragedy or controversy. I'm sure that sells, but there is a lot more going on than those stories. Something positive or helpful more often would be great. And there is a serious lack of diversity in your paper, but that is true to most publications in this area. Look through them. They are mostly white and smiling. Actually, it's creepy. I am white and have nothing against white people, but where are all the other beautiful colors of humanity? And your new format of featuring only one exceptional entertainment event each day of the week leaves out the dozens of other cool events on any given night in this area. Nice to feature some, but bring back the entertainment calendar. Seriously. Other than those things, your paper is quite good. Thanks.
