The day they outlawed DDT because it was a hazard to owl eggs, and millions of HUMANS have died since from malaria. That and the asteroid thing.
Oh right - because the only thing DDT harms is owl eggs. Its a magical owl egg potion. Other than that its as safe as pure water. I'm pretty sure I read that on some insane-part-of-the-right-wing-fringe-conspiracy-theory-webpage in the section on how governments regulate things just because politicians like power and want to rob us all of our rights - or whatever.
