Magic or Magical Realism? Skibell visits WriterHouse

Writer extraordinaire of the supernatural Joseph Skibell, author of A Curable Romantic and A Blessing on the Moon, is making the trip to Charlottesville's WriterHouse this week to talk about populating fiction with angels, ghosts, and dybbuks.

Writing in the New York Times Book Review, Patrick Giles, said of A Blessing on the Moon: "Daring in its haunting, often painful honesty, dense in thoughtful observation and unsparing incident, the novel is confirmation that no subject lies beyond the grasp of a gifted, committed imagination."
