The Bang On A Can All-Stars

New music from the highly cerebral acoustic-electric contemporary classical ensemble, which splits the difference between a rock band and a chamber quartet to perform music from the likes of avant-garde kooks like Terry Riley, Brian Eno, Thurston Moore, Steve Reich, Fred Frith, John Zorn, Glenn Kotche, and the late Milton Babbitt – "Lollapalooza advised by the ghost of John Cage," as Vanity Fair once aptly put it.
