Former Ventana space leased

Hip bistro/bar Ventana closed last summer.

Dish can confirm that the former Ventana space at the corner of Fifth and Water Streets near the Downtown Mall has been leased to Stewart Cunningham, father of Brice Cunningham, who co-owns Fleurie and Petit Pois with chef Brian Helleberg. Apparently, Cunningham the younger will be running the new place, which we hear will be serving Asian fusion. Stay tuned for more details!
