Artist Thomas Kinkade, who once franchised a gallery in Charlottesville that led to a $3 million judgment against him, makes Salon's "This Week in Crazy" following his DUI arrest June 11 in Carmel, California. That comes on the heels of a bankruptcy filing June 2, one day before Kinkade's company, now called Pacific Metro of Morgan Hill, Calif., was scheduled to make a $1 million payment to local former dealers Jeff Spinello and Karen Hazlewood, who claimed Kinkade used his Christian faith to defraud them.
