Perriello candor draws attention

Frosh Congressman Tom Perriello spoke candidly/cynically about a Congressional tendency to spend, and that won him a headline Thursday–- "Dem Congressman: 'If You Don't Tie Our Hands, We Will Keep Stealing'..."–- on the heavily-trafficked Drudge Report. (Conservative radio host Rob Schilling takes credit for the video.)

What the hell is "jim" rambling on about?

I guess when Tom says "we" he really doesn't mean himself. Freudian slip perhaps? This country is teetering on the brink of financial, social, and moral collapse, and Perriello and the rest of the Obamanation seem to be rubbing their palms together with glee. Disgusting.

To clarify:

The video was shot by Audrey Welborn and produced/distributed by The Schilling Show.

The story was broken on The Schilling Show blog and The Schilling Show on WINA yesterday, prior to going national.

"This country is teetering on the brink of financial, social, and moral collapse, and Perriello and the rest of the Obamanation seem to be rubbing their palms together with glee."

Exactly the type of over-the-top, sky-is-falling hyperbole that prevents teabag nation from being taken seriously. Go shag yourself.

What the hell is "yepper"

This kind of straight talk and candor is exactly why Tom got elected, and why he'll most likely get re-elected.

He's advocating for pay as you go or balanced budget legislation, which you would think would be a position that any conservative would support. Unfortunately, he has a 'D' next to his name, so the Tea Partiers will try to take his comment out of context and spin it against him.

Good job by the Hook presenting the story fairly.

moral collapse indeed. the democratic defeatist policy. who can we bow to next? queen pelosi is weak and subservant. "teabag nation" is the same that continues to defend the freedoms of those that can sit here and shop at whole foods while commenting on how tough their life is when forced to live without soy milk and tofu because of the 4 inches of snow the prius cant navigate. keep out cali and let in texas, this is disgusting. my generation may be that of kill, but there are no second chances in life.

Medicare, medicaid, public schools, post office, state police force, Regan enlarged earned income credit and more. Little late for conservatives to say we don't want socialist state, its been here. And thank you Republicans for putting George W Bush in office so there would be a complete uprising against his policies and have the Democrats win a unbeatable majority to pass health care reform. It should be called Wcare!!

Rob Schilling really cares about us in Charlottesville. Check out the cool stuff he sells: http://www.zazzle.com/schillingshow

I will bet you $599 that whomever wins that Repub. Primary will try to spin this puppy so far out of context that it'll make your head snap from the sheer ammount of spin.
