The Lexington Apartments at 514 Brandon Avenue may not be paradise, but they are becoming a parking lot. The UVA Foundation purchased the two, two-story apartment buildings in May from owner Dorothy Quarles, who bought them in 1963 for $140,000.

“The property is being “land-banked” for future UVA use,” says the UVA Foundation’s Tim Rose. “In the meantime, we will replace the current structure with a parking lot.”
