Audience crowds Pavilion stage

When the Decemberists frontman Colin Meloy invited a few lucky fans to join the band onstage for the last song of the night, many of Thursday's concert attendees complied, becoming musical participants. Meloy, center, was able to escape the stampeding fans unscathed once the song ended, while Hook reporter Stephanie Garcia was able to chat onstage with guitarist Chris Funk. After reminding him of his interview response, "I don't know why you should be listening to us, and I don't think I care," he laughed, "You put me on the spot, and I didn't know what to say!"

It's so original! It's so...Robert Randolph!

Were there any fatalities in the massive stampede of fans? I heard there were about 100 people there. That is out of control. I'm surprised police weren't called in to this G-0.00002 meeting.
