Live Arts hires actor as artistic director

Daniel "Satch" Huizenga played a good guy mistaken for a bad guy in the critically acclaimed 2001 horror film Joy Ride. And now he's been chosen to fill part of the role long occupied by John Gibson, for LiveArts a leading local theatrical company. Huizenga will be the producing artistic director. A search for an executive director is ongoing.

The LiveArts press release says "Huizinga," but the Internet Movie Database says "Huizenga," so I've switched the spelling above. Thanks. No immediate word on whether he's the son of business tycoon Wayne Huizinga, but I see that they're both from Michigan.
