Grisham penning Norfolk Four script

cover_largeVirginia's most famous crime author is taking on one of Virginia's most controversial criminal cases. The Associated Press reports that John Grisham is working on a screenplay concerning the case of four Norfolk-based sailors who claim they were wrongfully convicted of the rape and murder of an 18-year-old woman in 1997–- known collectively as the Norfolk Four. This is Grisham's first foray into screenwriting since the 2004 baseball movie Mickey and the first time he's returned to nonfiction since making his debut in the genre with the 2006 best-selling book The Innocent Man.
