County-guber Dem-fest up to 4.9 percent

The latest dispatch from county spokesperson Lee Catlin shows that voter turnout in Albemarle County for the Democratic gubernatorial primary has climbed since this morning when two percent of the County's registered voters had voted. Now, we're up to  3,351 voters – approximately  4.9 percent of those registered. Next dispatch at 5pm. Polls open until 7pm.

Bet there are a few Republicans mixed into that total. I heard on Coy Barefoot's show yesterday that they're either voting for Deeds, who is the most conservative, or against Deeds, because he poses the greatest threat to the Republican nominee. Either way if the election is close Coy's guest Bob Holsworth said the Repubs could swing the election.
