NEWS- Sentencing delay: Masked assailant buys time

Though he had been scheduled for sentencing on Tuesday, February 21, Kurt Kroboth will have nearly three extra months to contemplate his fate after Albemarle Circuit Court Judge William Shelton granted Kroboth's request to delay the proceedings. Convicted of attempting to kill his wife while wearing a vampire mask on Halloween night, 2004, Kroboth, the subject of the Hook's February 16 cover story ["Horror in the Hallway: Masked assailant awaits sentence"], will be sentenced on May 9 at 9:30am in Albemarle Circuit Court.
