LETTER- Mews residents most important

Region Ten can't just put up a wall and take the position that discussion and discourse are over [Little High Noon: Neighbors, Region Ten square off," April 13]. As a public agency, Region Ten must be accountable, and that includes proactively engaging the community.

If that had been done from the start, perhaps concerned community members would have had an opportunity to take part in the dialogue. This would have added to the integrity of the project, helped to satisfy the parties involved, and, most importantly, helped to serve the residents of the Mews. They're what's most important.
