LETTER- Region Ten not in trouble

Region Ten and City officials imply that seeking an alternative could damage Region Ten [Little High Noon: Neighbors, Region Ten square off," April 13]. We respectfully disagree. Region Ten is financially energetic, as its new investment at 500 Old Lynchburg Road, where it rents for-profit apartments (not for its clients), reveals.

CSHI is Region Ten's development arm, created by Region Ten and operating at its behest. If CSHI is troubled, Region Ten should consider supervising it more closely, bailing it out, or contracting with a different developer.
