MY RIDE- Mike Mawyer- Ford E250 van

It almost doesn't matter what car you drive when your cargo's cool and refreshing. That seems to be the take of Mike Mawyer, who for the last two years has driven a Ford van for Blue Ridge Beverage, delivering frosty brew to area restaurants and bars.

Mawyer, a man of few words who worked in a plant before joining Blue Ridge Beverage, says the best part of the job is meeting people, though sometimes their motives for reaching out can be questionable.

"Everybody hollers at you," he says. "Everybody wants free beer."

Does he ever give it out?

"No."
