Marijka Reidinga: "There were incredible storms in Holland in the late '80s that damaged my house with a lot of wind and rain. It came from a difficult angle that caused it to seep into the house."


Kristen Nicoletti: "When I was in Canada, there was crazy bad fog in the fall. You couldn't see anything in front of you."


Sue Schick: "Two straight weeks of below-zero temperatures in Vermont four winters ago. With the wind, it was even worse."

I remember the Blizzard of 1993. I was 9 years old at the time and the city and the county schools were out for a week to 10 days. But we had to make it up in the end.
