In our January 24 story about the bill designed to help wind-energy farms, "Mighty wind: Bill could aid wind farm," transposed digits gave the wrong identification number for the legislation. It is Senate Bill 324, introduced by State Senator Frank Wagner (R-Virginia Beach) that's currently being considered by the Commerce and Labor Committee. It would exempt from government oversight all electric facilities that generate and distribute renewable energy with a capacity of no more than 50 megawatts.
