LETTER- Don't diss cats!

Lisa Provence's February 14 cover story, "Stupid legislative tricks? 2,900 bills flood General Assembly," is great– it really makes you wonder about the quality of our elected officials.

I must comment about Waldo Jaquith's claim that "cats don't do anything."

Come on! Where has he been living? Anyone who lives in the suburbs, country, or on a farm knows that a cat is worth its weight in gold as an ecologically sound pest controller.
