MY RIDE- Ashley Bruce: 1998 Isuzu Trooper

Ashley Bruce has considered trading in his 1998 Isuzu Trooper for a Mini Cooper or a Honda, but so far he's resisted. For now, the Trooper is just what he needs when he's lugging around gear for his Richmond-based band, Ki:Theory.

Bruce admits the gas mileage is terrible, and it's compounded by the fact that it burns oil almost as fast. (He says he usually has to add a quart every week.)

Carbon footprint aside, the Trooper "runs great," and also has a tape deck, which he uses as a jack adapter for his iPod.
