EDITOR'S NOTE- Wow! Love those food reviews!

The first review hit the stands last week.

This town is hungry– hungry for food reviews! Judging from the emails and online chatter that erupted after we published Charlottesville's first one in nearly six years (we used to do them back in '02), we understand just how eager the town is for juicy, unbiased information.

That's why we follow the principles from the Association of Food Journalists– including using the real name of the reviewer. Moreover, we go undercover, pay full price, and visit at least twice. These are expensive practices, but the Hook believes the result is worth it.

One side note: we didn't realized the reviews would be so popular, and we don't have the second one ready this week.

So hang on to your hunger. Another review will be served up in the next couple of weeks.
