CORRECTIONS- Before, not when; murder day

• Due to an editing error, last week's "On Architecture" story, "Rosenwald revival: Restored elementary school preps reunion"suggested that St. John closed "when" Albemarle desegregated its schools. In actuality, the school closing took place a few years before Albemarle desegregated. (Although some parents may have sought integration in 1954, the year of the landmark Brown v. Board decision and the year that St. John closed, Albemarle didn't start integrating its schools until 1959.)

• In the Morris-Shifflett murder trial, testimony indicates that Morris went to the dump the day of the slaying, not the day after, as last week's story, "21 years later: Alcohol, infidelity key to murder?" incorrectly reported.
