Kiaya Abernathy:"Yes, I feel like Charlottesville is a safe city– a lot safer than somewhere like Richmond or D.C."

Lisa Langley: "Yes, I think it's just as safe as it has been. Isolated incidents, and you never can tell."

Jonathan Moore: "I do– no more or less safe than any other town of this size. What happened on the parkway recently and what we're just hearing about with the UVA lacrosse case, both of those situations have nothing to do with any broader trends."
