West Main Bridal was opened by Susan Sorbello in the early 2000s. A custom bridalware designer, Sorbello originally carried only her own designs; in the mid-2000s, her shop began carrying multiple brands, including Maggie Sottero, Modern Trousseau, and Siri. The shop boasts intimate, personalized service and custom fittings– and, of course, Sorbello continues to design her own line.

Twigs & Honey is based in Salem-Portland, Oregon, and showcases the designs of Myra Callan. Callan comes from a background of environmental, geographic, and atmospheric science– which shows in her nature-inspired pieces. Opening Twigs & Honey in 2008, Callan creates headpieces, veils, jewelrey, hats, and bouquets– and nearly every piece is unique.

Hair and makeup courtesy Lucinda Riley of Face Value Salon, located in the Old Trail Shopping Center, Crozet. Riley used airbrushed, silicon-based makeup on the models to help combat glistening in the heat. "It is very rewarding to think that someone trusts you enough on their day," she says. "Haven't we all heard horror stories of brides crying and taking their hair down?"

Pat's Florals, located in Madison, provided the bouquets.

Chelsea's wedding, have to admit, thoroughly enjoyed this deliciously gossipy, hilarious description of events leading up to yesterday's nuptials, in Rhinebeck NY - no I wasn't on the list.
