Families turned out to McIntire Park in droves on April 21 to enjoy the beautiful weather and all the flash and color of the Dogwood Festival carnival. With plenty of beautiful weather– and cotton candy– the annual event had all the traditional carnival fare festivalgoers have come to expect for decades. However, a few modern-day additions– such as a rock-climbing wall– met with equal acclaim from the happy attendees.
