"It's one of the last generations of Mercedes that were really, really great," says Bill Womack of his 1984 Mercedes Diesel Coupe.

"I got it because it looks really cool, it's fun to drive, and it's cheap to own," says Womack, who repairs the car himself and who converted the engine so it runs on bio-diesel. The one tricky part about that eco-friendly fuel?

"I need a warm place to keep it, or the engine will congeal," Womack laughs.
