The Hook offers a warm farewell to the "Squeaky Wheel" this week. The bi-weekly column that debuted January 11 was the creation of Peter Kleeman, long an advocate for pedestrian and roadway safety. Now he puts his ideas on the line in an independent run for a seat on City Council. But that means that, in fairness to the other candidates, the column goes on hiatus until November (or later, if he wins a seat). Many readers enjoyed the column. It has been almost as much fun as a City Council race!
