LETTER- Blind Lemon inspired 'Starship'

Regarding Linda Sherman's "Culture Vulture" cartoon in the July 12 issue, have no fear that Jefferson Starship will infringe on TJ or UVA/Monticello. The band was named for Blind Lemon Jefferson, a bluesman from Couchman, Texas.

Just wanted to get the facts straight.
