The September 20 hearing on the water supply plan was well attended. Here, Charlottesville Democratic Party co-chair Jim Nix and Albemarle County Supervisor, Ken Boyd, a Republican. They agree that dredging the reservoir should not be part of the area's water supply. Charlottesville City Council voted otherwise.

Obviously, both are extrememly ignorant of water supply matters. Their being together suggests to me there is some still-private reason why they both are promoting the current concept (no plan has been approved yet by the state or federal governemtnt).
