Captain Frank lost, Two J's Smokehouse found

It appears that Captain Frank went down with his seafood restaurant ship out in Palmyra, joining the Hitching Post, and bringing the total number of restaurants within a seven mile radius to zero. Until Two J's Smokehouse showed up in late January.

The two "J's" would be chef/owners Joshua Ball and Jerome Smialek, from the Lake Monticello area, who have decided to launch a bbq restaurant in the familiar spot near downtown Palmyra. Ball brings with him some impressive credentials, including an apprenticeship to the Charleston-based French chef Philippe Million. And they are getting raves in the Fluvanna Review. Check it out on the corner of Route15 and 53 in Palmyra.
