The Carolina Chocolate Drops

Couple of odd ducks here, to say the least – the Chocolate Drops are a black old-time string band from North Carolina who play old-school songs about cornbread and butterbeans alongside covers of Blu Cantrell's 2001 R&B jam "Hit 'Em Up Style" and Tom Waits' immortal "Trampled Rose." What's more, their newest inductee is a beatboxer. You've never heard folk music quite like this.
