Claire Gano: "I was at work, and it was raining really hard, and no one was on the Downtown Mall until later that night when it cleared up, so it was really boring."
Hook staff
Andrew Turner: "I was at UVA hospital, and they made everyone move away from the windows; even the patients had to sit outside in the hallways."
Jenny Saunders: "I was at the Downtown Hotdog Company working, waiting for customers. They were scared away, I think, by the storm. Not as busy a Dogwood Festival parade as we'd hoped."
There was no storm here. It seems to have gone around us, which is fine by me. Not hoping for any more microbursts.

Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, last summer, which had the most number of record high heat days in the DC/Virginia region, should officially be named Sunmageddon.
