Setting it straight

I read your story on Anomoanon [Interview, "Sibling supergroup," June 27] (http://readthehook.com/99240/sibling-supergroup-conversation-anomoan...).

For the record, Ned begged Pavement's booking agent to get on the bill that night in Towson, Maryland. His band played an endless set before The White Stripes and cut in to their set time. Then, his entourage occupied the entire backstage space and drank most of the rider. We had to hang out outside. Then, he tried to get money out of our tour manager, Deb, who had been told by the booking agent that Anomoanon were playing for free.

This, my friend, is the truth. It's a shame. Plus, I guess I'm still very immature as I continue to like indie rock at the advanced age of 34.
