What do you think of the eight-year sentence?


David Huffman:
"I think it was a little stiff. They're taking these parents away from their kid. They could have punished them in a more materialistic way. What about the parents who let their kids come the party?"

 


Shannon Dowell:
"Personally, I would never have done that for my child, but if the kids were being supervised on the property and the parents believed they were morally doing the right thing, eight years is kind of stiff. Some people who commit murder get less than that."

 


K.C. Sperry:
"That punishment is overkill, but the parents should have insisted that those kids spend the night so that no one was driving under the influence."[The parents claim they did do that.–ed.]
