'Not gay' not here no more

I was sorry to see The Hook guide to Charlottesville [August 7: "The Annual Manual"] still discussed the presence of the "not gay" chant at UVA football games.

I was at the season opener and couldn't hear it at all. I didn't notice it during the 2001 season, either. I'm guessing that is simply a holdover from previous issues, one that now thankfully can be erased (thanks to the efforts of UVA's Student Council).
