Laughable: Funny shtick comes to life

Now 57 and recovering from a serious heart attack, long-time comedian Gallagher faces what so many social commentators before him have faced: The people he satirizes have now become mainstream. For example, the audience at his April 4 Performing Arts Center show roared as Gallagher described men whose low-riding britches reveal their bare behinds. Later, when random members of the audience came on stage as part of the act, some were sporting the drooping pants Gallagher had just mocked.
