Bobbled blurb, dates, and numbers

The July 29 contents blurb, "News: Serial Offense," should have identified Granville Boggs as the man to whose house police came twice requesting a DNA sample. Larry Monroe filed a $15,000 lawsuit when police came to his workplace and home.

We've had some trouble identifying our issue dates on our cover recently. Our issue with the Kappa Sigma controversy bore a day-earlier date. The correct issue date should have been July 29. Also, the date range on the July 8 edition was inaccurate. It should have said July 8-14.

In last week's "Annual Manual," the phone number for the Single Professionals Activity Group should have been 985-2839
