Ingo's end: Fallen dog gets official burial

Members of area law enforcement gathered on Wednesday, November 17 for a memorial service for slain Albemarle County police dog Ingo. The German Shepherd was shot on October 24 during an attempt to apprehend burglary suspect Robert Lee Cooke. Ingo's handler, Albemarle police officer Andy Gluba, shot Cooke during the incident, leaving him a paraplegic. Gluba is on paid administrative leave pending an investigation by state police.
