Limit suffering to one day

Thank you for your story about Kentucky Fried Chicken and animal cruelty. [November 18: " KFC protest: PETA says chix battered then fried"].

All animals, including chickens, deserve to be treated humanely before we eat them. I believe that, yes, God did intend for us to eat them, but unnecessary suffering is not what was meant.

I feel much more comfortable eating a chicken that was at least treated humanely and just had one bad day. That's how it is in the wild, too– one bad day, not prolonged torture.

I prefer to eat at McDonald's, Burger King, and Wendy's. At least at these fast-food establishments the animals are treated humanely before that one bad day.
