Desai did something right

I used to visit Yogi Desai's ashram in Pennsylvania from time to time and remember my sadness at learning of his indiscretion [April 21: "Guru's past: Yogaville visit opens old wounds"].

How could he, I thought, have failed one of the two tests faced by leaders in every walk of life: sex and power? Then I remembered the love and beauty in evidence everywhere at his ashram, and I figured he must have done something right.
