Royal Paynes: Susans crowned in 'Emmas

Two coincidentally named ad experts, Susan Payne of Payne Ross and Susan Payne of Gotham Graphix, hoist some winnings on the verandah at Keswick Hall. The two won "Emmas" in the annual American Marketing Association contest whose winners were announced May 18. Gotham Graphix won for "best logo for wine label" for Raccoon Ridge, a new wine from Prince Michel Vineyards. Payne Ross was the night's biggest winner with four Emmas, including its "Where Else But Downtown?" campaign. Other winners were the Ivy Group for a TV commercial for Seminole Square, Sequoia Design for a Senior Center print campaign, and Category 4 for "Mystery Cargo," an educational website.
