Great doc; great pix

When I lived in Charlottesville I always enjoyed Dr. John Hong's morning appearances on Channel 29. Now that I don't get local stations anymore (thanks, DirecTV), I'm thrilled that he has a column in the Hook ["Dr. Hook"].

I just wanted to say how much I like his candor in discussing anything; it's refreshing and needed in this mealy-mouthed PC age. He puts a humorous spin on serious subjects, and slips some education in there while we're not looking.

P.S. Loved-loved-loved the two hilarious photos of Paul Curreri and Devon Sproule [June 9: "Loud & Clear: 2005 local music issue"]!
