Don't dot my backyard

In response to Justin Beights' comment that our concerns are a "non-issue" [News, "Literally: Not in my backyard," October 6, 2005], I'm sure that if dotted lines were going through his property plat saying "future right of way," it would be an issue, and the county would address his concerns promptly.

Just because people are not wealthy and powerful does not mean their concerns are stupid and worthless.
