Drenan's Katrina dispatches

On page 87 of this issue, you'll find the first of several dispatches from the hurricane Katrina-torn Gulf Coast. The author is Charlottesville-based home consultant/inspector Peter Drenan, who's on leave from his usual job to work for FEMA. This week he reports on what residents of St. Bernard Parish have in common, tragically, with an overrun platoon in Vietnam.– editor.
